Megan Knotz

Certified Pilates Instructor

Megan Knotz grew up in the Rogue Valley enjoying physical activity in nature by hiking and exploring.  This coupled with the culture she absorbed through Ballet lessons and the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, led her to Seattle to secure her BFA in dance.  Megan discovered Pilates in 1996 after a dance related injury. Pilates changed the way she inhabited her body and approached movement, making her dance and daily life much easier!  After teaching dance, and touring with a children's show in Austin, TX, in 2007 she moved to San Diego where she was certified in Pilates.  After moving to San Francisco Megan started working with a wide range of clients- from twenty somethings ready to push their body to the limit, -to people eager to remedy years of inefficient movement patterns. Within the Pilates repertoire she loves the strong bio-mechanical focus and the amazing range of exercises that are able to safely challenge anyone; from some one just returning to exercise to the accomplished athlete.  After three years of the hectic nature of the Bay area Megan came back to the Rogue Valley to appreciate the serenity and beauty.  Bringing with her a love of movement and a strong commitment to helping others find that love of movement as well.

Kat Jonsson-Vincent, B.S,

Certified Pilates Instructor

Kat's passion for fitness, health and the outdoors is life long.
From cross country skiing, trail running and horseback riding to teaching the Lotte Berk Method, weight training and Pilates, MOVEMENT has always been part of Kat's lifestyle. Her first experience with Pilates was at the dance department at the University of Utah where it was offered as an elective class. Curious to find out more, she signed up for the class and was instantly intrigued by the blending of physical and mental strength the method strives to develop. After graduating with a B.S in Exercise Science 1999, she continued taking Pilates lessons and a year later entered the comprehensive training program at The Pilates Center in Boulder, Co. After receiving her certification in 2002, Kat decided to open her own studio and taught private lessons as well as classes in Park City, Ut, until relocating to the Rogue Valley in 2011.
For Kat, the never ending learner, practicing and teaching Pilates is a journey where she continues to learn, be challenged and discover more and more of the many deep layers the method encompass. in an effort to further her education, she successfully completed the Pilates Method Alliance certification.
"My greatest reward is to share with my clients everything that I love about Pilates, and to see them develop a new found strength and self confidence".

He became a Balanced Body Certified Instructor in reformer 1 and mat 1 in 2014 and has been teaching since then. Knowing first hand how men can benefit from Pilates, Peter focuses his continuing education on work with men and teaching pilates geared towards them.
