Beginning Reformer classes starting in March

Yogalates ( Yoga/pilates blend)
Yoga/Pilates is a total body workout that combines yoga poses and Pilates exercises. Usually we do a short breathing meditation (about 3 mins) at the beginning of class to warm up, breathe and connect mind and body to the present moment. Then a warm up of both yoga and Pilates moves. We bring it off the floor with sun salutations and asanas (poses) and then back down for Pilates and core work. We end class with another 3-5 mins of breathing meditation called savasana to find our calm quiet center; relax the body and release any tension.
It is a workout that uses breathing, meditation (mindfulness or awareness), strengthening, stretching, and balance work. It’s a way to be in harmony and balance in the mind and body using body resistance, flexibility and relaxation.
Classes will start Jan 5th Tues/Thurs at noon and 4:30, 7 people max, This will be an on-going class. A punch card of 10 classes is $ 130.00
Intro to Mat
Feb 11th Thurs 4:30pm & Sat 10am.
This 2x a week for 3 week class is a great way to get an introduction to the fundamental principles of Pilates. You will learn proper breathing and abdominal control to help you get the most out of your Pilates work at home or in the studio. Learn to modify exercises for your individual needs. With a focus on helping strengthen your neck and back and improve hamstring flexibility! Classes start Feb 11th Thurs 4:30pm & Sat 10am.
